The East Dorset business Club was formed in November 2002 and became the 5th in the group of rural clubs. Aimed at directors and Proprietors of SME’s in and around the Wimborne area, it meets every two months for supper and a presentation by an invited speaker. Regular attendees vary from sole proprietors to owners of companies with around 20 employees.

Presentation topics vary widely – from internet optimisation to public speaking and sales techniques to employment legislation. Typical attendance is 20 to 30 people and the atmosphere is very informal. A good proportion of members hang around for a drink and a chat after each meeting so there is a strong social element to the gatherings.
